Steve, I just wanted to pass on the Property Council’s congratulations on your embrace of the ‘Splash Adelaide’ pilot and what you've been doing on Friday nights in the East End. Ebenezer Place really comes alive on Friday evenings and the positive mood and tone of the street is what we need more of in our city. We want to commend you on doing your bit to increase the interest and vibrancy in our city.

The Maras Group had the enthusiasm to coordinate the merchants on Ebenezer Place and the imagination to transform a street into a blossoming arts, craft and fashion market. They also borrowed a little magic from Hollywood, converting a vacant lot into an outdoor cinema showing free movies. During the Splash Adelaide initiative, the East End was the most vibrant neighbourhood in the City on a Friday night.
