Barry Jenkins Facilities Manager
Barry joined Maras Group in 2022 to assume the role of Facilities Manager, which sees him manage and coordinate the day-to-day operational management of the group’s property portfolio.
Reporting to the group’s Asset Manager, Barry is responsible for coordinating and overseeing building maintenance and servicing, and minor works projects.
Barry is a highly experienced and multi-skilled operator with a sound and varied trade/building background spanning over 40 years, including as a boilermaker/first class welder, crane operator, earthmover, ornate heritage restorations, building insurance work and building asset audit assessments.
Barry’s current Occupational Tickets and Training include Elevated Work Platform including Scissor Lift, Erect and Dismantle Scaffolding, Forklift, Occupational First Aid, OHS National White Card, Work Safely at Heights and Non-Friable Asbestos Removal. He also has the HIA Green Smart Professional Accreditation.
He has undertaken and completed various Certificate courses over the years including Trades Studies, Boilermaker and First Class Welder, Advanced Building Technology and Small Business Management.
Barry is a proven, well-rounded building professional who always aims to deliver over and above the norm.
